Night of Champions Predictions: The Real Stakes Behind the Hype
WWE keeps calling it Night of Champions, but the truth is, it’s Judgment Day. For careers. For rivalries. For storylines that have run out of gas—or are just getting warmed up. This ain’t just about who’s leaving with gold. It’s about who’s leaving with purpose… and who’s just leaving.
Because at Night of Champions, you either raise the title—or raise questions about why you’re still here.
TL;DR
Cena vs. Punk could be a rerun… or the rebirth of wrestling chaos
Cody wins King of the Ring—but what if he’s not the hero of this story?
Jade Cargill is coming for the crown, and Naomi’s already lurking
Jacob Fatu is about to find out Solo Sikoa plays dirtier than family
Rhea and Raquel might open the show—but don’t sleep on the aftermath
Karrion Kross MUST win. Period.
What’s Covered
Why John Cena can’t lose the title in Saudi Arabia
Why Cody vs. Randy needs a heel turn—fast
Jade Cargill’s moment (but watch Naomi closely)
Solo Sikoa’s quiet Bloodline reset
Raquel Rodriguez and the ghost of Liv Morgan
Why Karrion Kross absolutely cannot take another loss
Main Body
Let’s stop pretending. John Cena isn’t dropping that title in Riyadh. Not to CM Punk. Not to anyone—yet. The man’s on a farewell tour with gold around his waist, talking about ruining wrestling on his way out. You think WWE’s letting him vanish with the belt again? Come on. I’ve said it before and I’ll double down—Cody Rhodes is the guy to dethrone Cena. But lately, I’ve been wondering… what if it’s bigger than that? What if it’s a Fatal 4-Way? Cena, Cody, Orton—and yes—Ron Killings. The man’s been walking that heel line, and if anyone’s watching, he’s making a case. I’d love that swerve.
Now on to the King of the Ring. Cody Rhodes is winning. That’s locked in. But Randy Orton? He’s losing more than a match—he’s losing momentum. Being the “good guy” has cost him everything. It’s time for Orton to stop playing second fiddle and start listening to the voices in his head. He’s due for a turn, and Night of Champions might be the trigger.
The Queen of the Ring Final is Jade Cargill’s moment to rise. But let’s not kid ourselves—Asuka doesn’t lose clean often. Still, Jade needs this more. She’s evolved. She’s earned respect. But Naomi? She’s got other plans. I smell a SummerSlam triple threat coming—and maybe, just maybe, Bianca Belair’s been playing a long game.
Fatu vs. Solo is family business turned bitter betrayal. Jacob Fatu has the engine, but Solo Sikoa’s got backup—and maybe more on the way. Don’t be surprised if a new Bloodline member shows up to tip the scales. Jacob’s chase is far from over.
And if we’re being honest—Rhea vs. Raquel is a placeholder. It’s chaos for chaos’ sake. But if Raquel wins (and I think she will), someone unexpected will show up and try to claim Liv Morgan’s vacant tag title spot. Could be the spark of something bigger. Might even open the show.
Finally, Karrion Kross vs. Sami Zayn is a one-way street. Kross has to win. There’s no storyline left if he loses again. WWE brought him back from the dead. If he flops here, bury him next to the failed rebrands. Sami can eat a loss. Kross can’t.
Pull Quotes
“John Cena isn’t losing that title in Saudi Arabia. Period.”
“Cody wins—but Randy’s real win will be when he finally snaps.”
“Jade Cargill doesn’t just need the crown—she needs Naomi to shut up.”
“Karrion Kross losing again? That’s not storytelling. That’s sabotage.”
Fan Challenge
Which heel turn do you want more—Randy Orton snapping on Cody or Bianca Belair finally turning on Jade?
